Not sure why you think it is for a Road Map (Mate?) GPS. Your best bet is to contact Magellan directly. Their website is not the easiest place I've ever navigated. I did not see a specific listing for the Roadmate 2000, but when I queried them about upgrades for your unit, the response was Roadmate 2000/2200T. Manuals are available, but again nothing was noted. At the moment the creation of OSM based maps for Magellan units is a quite complicated, manual process. Magellan users will find the maps on the website for download.
