The files all begin with SP RENAME each file after download to something very understandable to you and us. THIS IS WHERE YOU MUST MUST STAY ORGANIZED!!!! SUGGEST YOU MAKE A HP DOWNLOAD FOLDER AND SUB FOLDERS FOR EACH CATEGORY OF DRIVER JUST LIKE IN THE LIST.

Scooby4181, MANUAL WAY. Open the folder you copied your Windows XP CD to. EXAMPLE: C: XPCD - Create a subfolder called $OEM$ Create a subfolder in $OEM$ called $1 Create a subfolder in $1 called drivers The path should be C: XPCD $OEM$ $1 drivers This is where Windows Setup will look for the sata drivers Make one more subfolder in the drivers folder called sata Copy the Intel Extracted Drivers into the sata folder The final path to the Intel Drivers will be: C: XPCD $OEM$ $1 drivers sata - Burn the CD.
