Formerly I only listened to their hit songs on various television advertisements such as “Heavy Rotation”, “Aitakatta”, and “Kimi no Koto Ga Suki Dakara”. So I sought about this “Yuuhi Wo Miteiru Ka?” and succesfully could get it.

Hurricane After that short listening session, there is only one song that according to me is interesting enough, i.e. The rests are so-so. I don’t know, I think it is about preference really, but I don’t even know how to enjoy those three songs. I will just say that they are not my cup of tea. Well, that’s dissappointing for me. I intended to search for their other single CD like “River” or even their first album “Heavy Rotation”, but since I worry that not all musics inside those packages will catch my interest, I think it will be better to search for individual hit songs like before. I just listened to “Ooge Diamond” and “Fortune Cookies in Love”.
I enjoyed listening to these songs because I knew that these songs were catchy before I decided to include them on my song list. But I WILL NOT ever again blindly search for their songs that I have never listened to. Please don’t be irritated by my post. I like JKT48 but that doesn’t mean I am blind to whatever they are doing. I tried to give them criticize to be better and I hope they will keep moving forward. After seeing the whole arc, I must say that she is COOL! Way much cooler than Kagura!
She is pretty with silky long blue hair, has an excellent skills in swordmanship, and develops a unique chemistry with Okita. If okikagu is somewhat childish, then Okita and Nobume (Okinobu) is more mature. Formerly, I liked okikagu but now I switch instantly to okinobu. I don’t care to anyone else’s opinion. For me, Okita and Nobume is perfect for each other. They are both full-grown adults (I think Nobume is around the same age with Okita), have a same level of swordmanships (Nobume is just a weeeee bit below Okita), have the same “killer eyes” (they called at each other as “killer”) and take a good notice of each other. Meanwhile okikagu has age differentiation (well, they have age gap for four years), has different choice of weapons and fighting skills, and their interactions are really destructive.
I know some of you will say that Okita has ever covered for Kagura a few times but Nobume just doesn’t have that much screen time yet. Besides, Okita chose not to kill or hurt her at their battle on Baragaki arc. After Baragaki arc, I sought for any canon okinobu interaction in Gintama and got some chapters more. If it is sorted based on timeline, their interactions will be like this: Basically, Okita and Nobume first met on battlefield on Gintama anime episode 245 in Baragaki/Thorny arc that resulted in a very cool battle between them. They had their faces really close without any awkward or weird moments. When do Okita and Kagura get that close without kicking or making faces at each other’s?
Later, their interactions resumed in Courtesan of Nations arc on anime episode 258. They had a few scenes together that pointing out that Okita remembered her well. They did spies extermination in synch and he kept smiling when talking to her. When does Okita smile like that to Kagura? They met again on a chapter in Gintama that hasn’t been turned into anime yet (I forget the name of the chapter). They paired up nicely again, doing simulation together and talking to each other.
I am really looking forward to their interactions again. Maybe it is not as many as okikagu moments but Nobume is new character and I am sure she will get more spotlights on future chapters. This pairing is promising. Yeah, Nobume becomes my third favorite Gintama character now. I like her more when someone paired her up with Kamui, my second favorite character. Eventhough Kamui and Nobume (kamunobu) is not canon (yet), but Takasugi and Sasaki (Nobume’s boss) are in cooperations now. Eventually they will meet.
I wonder how the interaction will be like since Kamui is interested in samurai and she is the only samurai woman around. If they developed unique relationship, then Nobume would get two hottest boys in Gintama, Kamui and Okita, interested in her at once! Don’t you think it will be great? Well, she was being kind to him, blushed over his comment, cried for him and waited for him for like forever. Don’t you think that it is the sign of LOVE?
I think the perfect pairings will be Okita x Nobume and Kagura x Hisashi. Yeah, I am weird and maybe no body agrees with me but who cares? Hideaki Sorachi hasn’t made them married yet so any pairings even the weirdest one still has a chance. Oh, and I like Hijikata x Otae also along with Gintoki x Tsukuyo. Wait, why do those pairings even appear on this post? Okay, so here is my first “real” post. It has been a year and half since I last watched any good Korean drama.
My last Korean drama was “49 Days”. But a few weeks ago I just didn’t have anything to do and unintentionally watched a Korean historical drama on my national TV. I wasn’t interested at first. But I often bumped into this series when switching channel and couldn’t help but watch a few scenes. I thought to give this drama a try.
It titled “Gu Family Book”, starred by a solo Korean singer, Lee Seung Gi (as the main hero, Choi Kang Chi) and a member of girlband Miss A, Suzy (as the heroine, Dam Yeo Wool). It is about half demon-half human’s love story. Remind me a lot of “Inuyasha”, moreover the hero has two love interests: his past love, Park Chung Jo, starred by Lee Yu Bi (Kikyou?) and his current love, Dam Yeo Wool (Kagome?). I watched it from around episode 8 untill episode 19, but getting bored quickly so I decided to stop watching it. Well, I think Lee Seung Gi indeed is handsome in his usual appearance, but in this drama, I don’t think he is that much attractive. Frankly, I think he looks weird with that ancient costume and hair style. And according to me, Suzy, although she looks stunning as Dam Yeo Wool, but her acting is not as good as her looks.
Playing a role as a tomboy girl who is said to have an excellent fighting skills worthy enough of a title of martial arts instructor, she still looks “girly”. It is so obvious from her running and fighting scenes.
She run like a princess and all her fighting scenes are really “smooth”. They don’t look like real fighting scenes, even some of them are obviously seen as made up because her movements are slow.
Also, why is this martial arts instructor so damn weak so she got beaten and kidnapped over and over again? I know she is a girl but that is too much for a martial arts instructor. Another point I don’t like is when Yeo Wool “took” Kang Chi from Chung Jo with that innocent face.
I don’t like Chung Jo because she is kinda arrogant and meanie there but I don’t like Yeo Wool more. I think she is trying to be an angel for Kang Chi by helping him but in the process hurting anothers like Park Tae Seo (Yoo Yeon Seok), her fiance, and Chung Jo. Oh, and she cried a lot for a tomboy girl. And the men cried a lot too. I think that is somewhat unpleasant because I always think that men should be strong. They should not cry that easily moreover in front of others. The story itself is somewhat boring and cruel.
Nothing to keep me interested although there are many cliffhangers everywhere. Those accumulated points make me don’t want to know the rest of the story after episode 19.
Hmmm yeah, this is not my favorite series. I like Seung Gi before this and hold nothing againts Suzy but maybe it will be better for me to watch their performances outside this series.
